General Haulage Transport Planner (Lutterworth)
~ Permanent ~ 4 SHIFTS ON 4 SHIFTS OFF ~ Immediate Start.

Location: Lutterworth, Leicestershire,

Pay rate: £30,000 – £38,000 Per Year

Transport Planner Job role:

1. General Haulage transport planning.
2. To assist and support in all areas of general administration within a Transport, planning and customer service environment
3. Checking delivery driver sheets and paperwork
4. Securing backloads
5. Booking in any collections/Deliveries
6. Assist Transport Manager with various tasks

Transport Planner Shift pattern:
• 4 ON 4 OFF
• 06:00 – 18:00

What we are looking for in a Transport Planner:

1. Strong IT skills with the ability to Operate Word, Excel and Outlook
2. High level of organisation and time management skills
3. Attention to detail and accuracy of data submitted
4. Ability to adapt to different processes and task
5. Strong communication skills both verbal and written
6. A knowledge of EU driver’s hours rules and WTD
7. Previous experience in a similar role is essential for the role of Transport Planner
